turtleAt DISCOVERY we offer a loving pre-school program for children ages 18 months to 4 years that emphasizes social and emotional growth, while giving careful attention to intellectual and physical development. We offer an individualized program that supports the strengths and responds to the needs of each child and family. We emphasize independence, learning through experience, and self-discovery. Creativity and artistic expression are highly valued and part of the daily routine.

Our long-range goals include:

  • the positive growth of the whole child
  • the development of creative thinkers, problem solvers, and caring, happy and productive children
  • the preparation of children for the transition to kindergarten

Our activities and curriculum support these goals by providing a safe and stimulating learning environment. Additionally, we maintain a high student to teacher ratio, we have a comprehensive phase-in process to help our TWOs settle into school, and we offer assistance with the ongoing kindergarten process. letter c
