Hi, I'm so excited you've discovered our school!  I look forward to  getting to know you and your child during the school year.  I want you to be assured that I make it my personal mission to create a loving, safe, and intellectually stimulating environment at Discovery Children's School.  Every child is a unique and precious gift to the world.  I cherish the opportunity to help these young minds discover the wondrous world around them and discover their own distinct talents, interests, and abilities.  

I have had the opportunity to teach children for the last 16 years, beginning my career in Provo, Utah where I earned my teaching degree from Brigham Young University, then shortly thereafter receiving my Utah State teaching license.  After teaching in Utah for two years my husband and I moved to his hometown of Columbus, Ohio where I continued my teaching career.  Then one year later our first son was born, and I began a new phase in my teaching career -- teaching and raising my own children, and being an active parent participant in their schools and pre-schools.  

Thirteen years later, we now have three children (Jake 13, Spencer 10, Alli 6), and have spent the last five years raising them in downtown New York City.  I love this invigorating city environment and feel I have so much love, experience and learning opportunities to offer you and your children.
